'Stars'

For my drawings, I am always inspired by my memories, moments in which I have not been able to take any photos, I keep them in my memory and capture them on paper, but in this case, it was the other way around, I drew a couple dancing on the beach inspired by the song 'Stars - Simply Red'; I liked a phrase that said 'Can't you see I'm dying to fall from the stars into your arms'.

Who would have thought that after two months of drawing that, I would fall in love with a German man on the beach. For a week we stayed together hanging out.

We danced at night, on the beach, under the stars. He played this same song every time, and I couldn't believe it. Before he went back to his country, I gave him a copy of that same drawing, and I told him the story. He was trembling with emotion.

But the most ingredible part of this story was that it was his mother's favourite band, and they went together to see the concert. After a while, he took two flights to come and see me and my family. It was a beautiful story.
