'Daydream'

This is a special photograph, the summer of 2022 I wanted to start a project, I photographed people of different genders, different bodies and ages in various places, what I wanted was to convey the connection between the human body and nature, portray the charisma of each person with the environment in which they surround themselves.

I wanted to get away from criticism, impositions and rules that we always have in social media, in order to feel as we are, free and natural.

I really liked a text that Pili Ruiz, the model, wrote about how she felt during the session.

I don't look, I feel.
I feel the silence, the instant, the calm.
I feel the rocks and the salty breeze.
I feel the turbulent thoughts and the stillness of the heart.
Because I wait for the horizon to cry out my name
like an unfinished whisper.
Because I need to rest my nostalgia in the colors and be a living texture, to feel the embrace of the afternoon and merge with the landscape.
I need to bare my soul and leave the profile of my body at the expense of time.
Because today I just want to be, to be ALIVE in this unexpected moment.
